Member: 43681 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | I found already hacked files from here: http://quank.narod.ru/patched_files_for_btw14210sp4.zip (0.69M) Slow... but works whit these drivers: ftp://drivers:[email protected]%20CSR.zip (19.2 M) When the installation asks BT-dongle drivers click next and then copy these files to the right places: wbtapi.dll -> C:\windows\system32 BTStackServer.exe BTTray.exe -> C:\Program Files\WIDCOMM\Bluetooth-software (Folder where you installed the soft) If the copying progress says that "Could not overwrite because the file was in use etc...", then you have to try to replace these files in safe-mode/ms-dos-prompt/uninstall-install again. I was considering upgrading to this version on my W2K home Pc. Are you able to use the Headset profile on BT3030 with any mobile phone? I want to be able to : a) Use the audio gateway with my T610 b) Use the Jabra BT200 with the BT3030 for voice chat using Yahoo/MSN/Skype. Please advise so I could decide whether to upgrade or not. Current version 1.2.2.16 allows me to do all other stuff that I need, like Sync with outlook, FTP themes/ringtones/pics, etc. Thnx in advance. :-)

Member: 46047 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Acer TM 804 internal Bluetooth and Logitech Cordless Presenter Quote:
Still ACER is delivering their TM 800 series with Widcomm 1.3.2.7 not supporting bluetooth mice (HID profile) and other useful profiles. And still Acer is replying on support calls they are testing the new version and will release shortly the 1.4.x Version. The Cordless Presenter is delivered with an USB Stick and not with a hub as for the MX900 Mouse. The software is as well different. It is coming with the usual MOUSEWARE (Version 9.79) and not with the SETPOINT software of the MX900. I believe the delivered USB Bluetooth stick is just a normal bluetooth stick supporting all the profiles - depending on the software! However, the MOUSEWARE software is only creating a HID profile in the device manager without any other bluetooth functionality. Of course I wanted to use the internal bluetooth device - which in fact should be the same equipment as the external BT500 USB stick. I used the above mentioned thread and it works perfectly !! Thanks to your work. I installed the 1.4.2.10 Version and just when the system was waiting for the bluetooth device to start I copied the hacked files into the corresponding folders (as mentioned above). I only had to download a software to unpack the hacked files as mine was not able to make it (I used WINACE). What surprised me at the most: The Logitech Cordless Presenter is nearly working without any failure. All buttons are working, whether in MOUSE-mode or in PRESENTER-mode! The only problem is that the Cordless Presenter is not automatically bonded into the system after a new start. May be it is because I cannot pair it ? Is it at all possible or necessary to pait HID devices ? Now I will work on synchronizing my iPAQ 3870 whrere I still have problems. I hope this is just related to my missing cleverness and not because of the hacked Widcomm.

Member: 44064 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | You should pair it, because otherwise it won't be possible to automatic reconnect @ a reboot. But when initiating pairing you should not give in a code, and viola it works perfectly. Good luck... |
