If your device is still not recognised after hacking btw

This has been mentioned before but i think it was buried in a post.

If your device is not recognised when installing the 1.4.2.10 drivers you can use the usb monitor (from here http://www.hhdsoftware.com/usbmon.html) to determine the vendor and product id (vid & pid) and then edit the btwusb.inf file manually to include the correct codes for your dongle.

If you do use this method, theres a good chance that the widcomm installer wont detect your hardware automatically and you will have to install the widcomm software without the device drivers, then force windows to add the device afterwards using 'add new hardware' and using the 'have disk' option to point it to the btwusb.inf you edited.

Also if there are quite a few that are missing from the newer drivers it might be useful to start a list of them.

So ill start it off with my MSI BTOES, VID=DB0, PID=6970
