I have exactly the same problem....but BTTray.exe does not hang untill i take my phone (device) out of range....
However I'm still able to connect to the serialport of the phone by browsing "My BlueTooth Places" even thoug I get an error message....

I think I have found a solution (rater than a work around) to this problem at this adress www.jonscaife.com/techhelp/bluetoot.html
I will try it out and report later.

Perhaps it does not crash as often as before, but it's not that big difference!

Think thar the problem actualy lies in Nokias Blutooth protocolls.
I know for a fact that a very smal number of accsessories (exept nokias own ones) work whith their phones...
gues they'r to "big" to folow standards and make up their own...
