crack for BTFaeSec.EXE? Widcom 1.4.2.10 SP5

I was using patched Belkin drivers (Widcom 1.4.2.10 SP0) with my Ambicom BT2000C USB Dongle because the Ambicom driver included with my dongle were NOT based on the Widcom stuff and I could not get it working right using the Ambicom drivers.

Looking at Ambicom's web site now, if you have a BT2000C-USB with S/N : 3343000001 or later you can download newer drivers which are Widcomm 1.4.2.10 SP5 driver.

I tried it with my BT2000C USB (lower serial number) and the install goes and launches a BTFaeSec.exe which asks for a "Security Code" that is supposed to exist on a lable on the dongle. My dongle does not have one so I'd have to patch the files again...

I figure when I move the dongle to another computer, rather than having to jump through hoops, patching the three files, etc....

Has some one "patched" the BTFaeSEC.exe so you can just put in anything and it will accept it?

I tried patching the 3 files with these drivers like the SP4 instructions but it did not work.

BTW, it appears D-Link is also using this in their drivers for the DBT-120 see... http://support.dlink.com/faq/view.as...estion=DBT-120
