Doesn't work/Work !!

Hi!
Got Nokia 6600 and BT through Widcomm 1.4.2.10

Having installed and configured Widcomm (and PC Suite), strange things happen !!

When I click on the Serial Icon in Bluetooth Places to connect, first an error message pops up with "The Bluetooth Serial port connection failed. The remote device closed the connection."

BUT, few seconds later, the BT icon turns into green and a message (from XP) says Succesfull connection, blah, blah.. !!

..and the PC suite works well.

So the bottom line is that everything's OK, but it's unpleasant (and not understandable by me) to get the error message...

Anybody has the same pb ? Succeeded to work it out ??

Nothing wrong with your phone

There is nothing wrong with either your phone or the bluetooth adaptor. I have had this problem for ages, and it seems to be the way in which the symbian software on the nokia phones interacts with the computer. Either way it has happened on both my 7650, NGAGE, AND NOW 6600. I puzzelled long and hard about this issue before I found this answer at the sitecom website (www.sitecom.com)

Do not worry about your phone, computer, drivers etc... There is nothing you can do about it so you will just have to accept it. I agree, it is very annoying though!
