New Disc Patch By Single For M55? - Page 3 - GSM-Forum

i tried to leave only one language - romanian - and it's working.
But the space will be the same, because chaos patch is for 1.4 Mb only.
maybe somebody knows what needs to be changed to work with any space value - or how to calculate to ajust this as necessary

Hi,
I use Siemens_Language_Editor_v141 to compile edited language pack (.lgp) to flash (.bin) but it never works when I flash it to my phone.. but if I use 5A0000.bin it works!
Somebody could tell me how to create flash language pack for only 2 language inside it (English+mylanguage)?

I'm a bit curious about the cable you are using for flashing.

I have a no-name serial cable with pins 1-4 connected to the phone. Is it possible to flash the phone with a cable like this? Only using serial I/O pins 3 and 4?

Does anybody know if it's possible to make a patch that formats drive A: with that extra space in it? I don't use java at all and I'm hopeing to get more memory for the camera. Is it impossible to allocate over 3Mb to one drive?

Are you sure Pak Diansyam?

but the .bin file is become too large! 5 MB...
and when I tried to write the flash into the phone, there was a warning came up! said, I want to flash the Boot core... bla..bla.. YES NO CANCEL just like we're gonna fullflash the phone!
But why if I use 5A0000.bin its not happened?

I've been move unnecessary language, and left only 2 language data. So, is that so simple for making the langpack flash by change = AllLangs 2 ?
I tried to do so....but Why does Eng+Rus.bin only = 131 KB
and myLangpack.bin = 5.993 KB

if I changed 5A0000 to -1 it will reduced the .bin file size = 94 KB but not works when I flash into the phone.

I need a confirmation...please

If the langpack is not for M55 v10, as u said, why the flash working in my M55 v10??

Until now, my phone is working properly with that SL4x langpack!
So? where is the wrong?

Is it necessary that the first language is english? can I make a patch with german and french only? (replace with notepad english with german) or have only one language? not because of the space, but because not too many understand german in my country and so, they will not play with my phone!

Offtopic: where can be patches requested?
I would like a patch so that the phone makes a sound when the battery is full charged, sometimes I wait for the batt to be full so that I can leave the house and check it every 5 minutes...
And a patch that overrides the setting that disables the kamera when the battery is half empty. I hate to charge the phone everytime I think I'm going to need the kamera. If the phone has no power to be used as a phone I can find anytime a friend who will let me use his phone. It's like in Seinfeld: "Don't you have free space for pictures or is the battery dead?" "No, my phone wants to be shure I can use it till tomorow, so he preserves power..."

You can have as many languages as you want, in any combination.
