IR : TV and t610 - GSM-Forum

Hello,

is there anyone who know a software to use the IR port of the t610 with IR objects (like a TV)..

I'd like to use my t610 to change channels...

The reason that nobody has made such a program is that the T610's IR is so weak that it only can reach 30-50cm :-(

...and Java is too slow on mobile devices...

too slow? one of my friends made a java program for my T610 that could change channels on my sony tv and it worked great in a range of 30cm, but we stopped working on this cause of the little range...

Rather grow your nail for the missing 30 cm or use a pen pushing buttons on TV :-)

no sorry, but i'll ask my friend about the sourcecode tomorrow! I don't think he will keep them to him self...
