Unhappy HID profile not loading before logon screen

Hi,
I have recently got my MS BT dongle working on WIndows XP Home by using the using the HEX edited IBM widcomm drivers described by Phantasm in other threads, and all seems to be fine . MS keyboard and mouse work fine once logged on, but HID profile does not seem to load before logon screen when PC is rebooted, ie can't use bluetooth keyboard or mouse to logon.

I have read on the net that HID profiles are supposed to be loaded automatically by Windows before the logon occurs.

Just wanted to know if I had missed a configuration, or if there is a setting I need to change?

Thanks!

You have probably installed the software while logged on on a limited user account. So you should try to install the software either in the safe mode or when in an account with administrator rights.

All software and drivers installed with administrator account on the PC.

What difference would installing it in safe mode make?

Windows does load HID profiles before logon, but i don't know when it runs the widcomm drivers. Maybe the problem is related to that, but it works for other people so there must be a way that it can communicate before logon. Do you have the "intelli" software installed for your mouse and keyboard?
