Data transfer software - GSM-Forum

I have an MYX-5 phone, and i want to transfer ringtones via a data cable. I tried mydiscover and it doesnt detect the cable, so i tried My Pictures and Sounds or whatever and that says something about a non compatable data cable in port 2.
How can this be possible if i have used the cable to get info about my phone etc and it was always detected before. Apart from these 2 pieces of software, what else could i use to do this?

Your data cable it is not on 100% efficient on ca. 60-80% only

If you use My pictures and sounds 7.04 or newer you can use non original sagem cable

ah ok then thanks a lot im sure the version i tried was 7.04 but im not sure so ill give it another go. Apart from thst is there another way to get ringtones without using wap or something

I have just downloaded 7.06 using a non official cable and it still doesnt work
