power on the phone (without sim card)
then enter the following : 2945#*70001# eng. menu will open up....select factory reset lOCK WILL BE REMOVED.

The engineer mode bit works great, but factory reset did not unlock the fone, can you help further? Cheers Ste

Factory reset, will only reset security code... doesn´t unlock the phone
