(first of all: all siemens mobiles work with siemens firmware (software)!)

...I think you want to remove your vodafone software branding (Log-animation etc.) - correct?

If you want to do this, you need a data cable and data exchange software (DES) if you don't have, you can download at siemens-mobile.com.

Connect your mobile, open DES, make all folders visible (in windows menu -> folder options), now there is a light folder called "customization" - open it, now there must be a folder "operator"...if you delete this one, your vodafone branding is killed.

I suggest you to make a backup of that folder "operator" so you can restore it if required - example for warranty.

Good luck

Nope, i want to put up the whole original cx65 fw, because the patches are on another address. For example:

enable dev. menu cx65 fw25
1336914: 04 08

on my phone (cxv65 fw25) the address is 1334a54.

So if i haven't got the piece of codes i can't find this function.

Other thing, the vodafone software always appears later than original cx65 fw.

i have here 2 pc. of cv65 ...

solution that might work (i'll test it tomorrow)

- read full flash from c65
- patch flash with patcher
- write into cv65 (MAKE BACKUP BEFORE!!!)
- make map, upload to phone with eeTools

that should work ...

but not tested yet

please test and post result

should be the same for all models

just to confirm that mentioned operation works 100%

(patch bootcore to both phones - ie: c65 and cv65)
read fullflash from both phones

patch c65 fullflash with flash patcher from Nike
write it into cv65
make map
upload with eeprom tools

all works 100%

just one little problem ...

since the flasher CAN'T write bootcore to phone
(c65 bootcore to cv65 bootcore)
SWUP for c65 cant work anymore
(always says - SW UPDATE DENIED BY MOBILE)

so ... before reading flash from (for example) c65
upgrade it to v25 with latest swup
and then read ...

so you will have latest version in your cv65 ...

above procedure is tested
with two cv65 phones ...
both were succesfully converted to c65 v25
i think it should work with ALL x65 phones ....

if anyone knows how to write bootcore to phone ...
let me know.

i dong get it ... what else do you need ?

all that you need to know is already written in previous post.

- take one working Cx65 ... update it with SWUP to latest version (v25)
- patch the bootcore with java patcher
- read the full flash with x65 flash reader/writer
- do the same (except update) on Cx6V (vodafone phone)
- patch the readed flash with flash patcher by Nike, to enable EE access
- write that patched flash from Cx65 to Cx6V
- make .map file and with eeprom tools upload to Cx6V phone

thats all ... after that you have PURE Cx65 phone

read another topic for procedure of
patching boot, patching flash and making map, etc.

So. I wrote cx65 fubu into cxv65. It asked overwrite bootcore and EEFULL. Of course i skipped the bootcore, but what about EEFULL? Can i overwrite? Anyway I can't get ID with getcode software, so i can't make map. Any idea?

try to use sst unlock and repair function.
if you just flex your phone with CX65 FFS init then vodafone menu will completely remove except the icons on menu.
