6100/3100 Flash IC

Hello. Please can someone tell me, what flash can i use if i dont have an original K5U64418TM SEC 247.
Can i use flash from 6310 (i640W18TD)?
Or flash from 8310 ( iF640W18T)?
Or flash from 7210 ( K8S64158TM)?
Or flash from Ngage ( N643GT7MI)?

Problem was, the phone losed the network. First i flashed it with new firmware, no success. Then I reheated the PCB, all parts, and phone was dead. I tried to flash it, twiser said :UPP ok, boot also ok, but after flash erase, in 10% flashing error. With Griffin also same problem, flash erase ok, but in first 10% error(connection lost ors). I think i must change the flash ic, cause first, when the problem with network begin, phone also freezed and rebooted. Or what should be the solution.

Any help will be great.

try to reball the flash chip and flash the phone again!

Ok. I try that. But its more comfortable to put the new flash chip to the phone. I may be killed CPU with overheat? But then phone i think were totally dead - no communication with twister(it says UPP OK) and no start to flash erase.
Problem is, those original flash ic's are out of stock from my supplyer.

Solution to fix such problem(i guess not only for 6100/3100, also other dct-4) is change UPP.

There is no problem with flash and UEM. Good luck. I got phone worked.
Old UPP was 4370931 and i canged to 4370873. working OK.

But i have still question - what kind flash types i can use in 3100/6100?

Check which flash version u are using... Try to flash with higher version 'coz i had d same problem with 61/3100 before and just solve it flashing with higher version. Check i the support site for the flash files.

Thanks for replay, but this doesn't helped me. Phone had sw v 5.54, upgraded to 5.91. The signal were a little bit better. But phones losed network sometimes. Then i tought to reheat the PCB. Strange, why UPP died....first thought, when phone was dead, that flash ic is dead...then UEM...and finally, when twister gave same error after UEM and flash change, i decided to change UPP and it worked. I'm not sayin, that this network problem was in UPP, or in flash or in UEM IC, but right now the phone works. Let's see, what brings the future.
To reball the flash is real pain in my ***, thats why i thought to put the new, reballed flash ic, to the phone. Original IC was out of stock of my supplier, and my toughts were simple - what flash IC can i use.

I hope you i-mobile are right. I try this next time. I let you all guys know my experiens too. It were very helpful, if somebody wrote here the same - clearly what IC exactly and what phone

Use flash ic from 7250i, 3200 3300 (combo flash- whit ram inside) can use flash from 7210 who gatno RAM on board. Network problem cause cpu (v826-4370931) and uem (write asic2 rpl), if change flash ic write good PM (if bad is low signal or cant find network. When chaking network use manual search if searching long time uem posibile is good just write new PM.

i have problem with the network problem only on 1800 mhz that works perfect, but no network on 900mhz.

i already change PA, Antenna Switch, CPU, UEM still no network. before changing the parts, the phone have pcn fluctuating signals. But Now the phone have signal bars (but there is no fluctuating signal from the phone and then in 2 seconds the phone totally have no network on both gsm and pcn). Towmorrow i will change the flash chip + UEM and test for results and write the rpl. Hope tomorrow the phone will back to network on both pcn and gsm.

Have u check the Crystal Oscillator 26 Mhz before? or Helga/Mjolner.

but the phone is not working on 900mhz, it works well in 1800 mhz. i don't think it's the 26 mhz crystal
