CFX65 Cable Problem

Please help. I have been looking for USB Data cable for my SIemens CFX65, but couldn't find one. So, i bought Prolific cable, but, ****, it doesn't work with CFX65, but works with M55. I think it should work. Does anyone have any tips on how i could make it work? Please, help. My phone memory is full, and i don't want to delete photos, i want to transfer them to my pc.

You have to modify your cable.

Solder a 15k Ohm resistor between leg 2 & 5 and also between 2 & 7 of your cable. After you have done this your cable will also work with your CFX65

Is there no way for this cable to work with CFX65, besides than modifying it?

BTW, how much does the original cable cost in your country? I am asking since there are no any here, just some noname and most of the time they give cables for different models and tell you to try and return it if it doesn't work.
