Try this for the x64 version - http://www.megaupload.com/?d=EBNPPEK0
Let me know how you get on. Also if you get the "Bluetooth license check failed. Please make sure that the bluetooth device you are using is licensed..." please post the exact message, there may be a number between the words CHECK and FAILED. I have placed these numbers into the various dll's so that I can see which dll is triggering this. |

Hi, Phantasm. I got it working for like 5 minutes, maybe some minuts more when the tray icon turned red again and the message popped up "license failed bla bla.... No numbers between the words. Damnnnnn, I never had it working this long. I really thought it would stay working.

Can you overwrite this DLL (btChooser.dll) into system32
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=TK9NYZ0J and see if it comes up with a number in the message then. Thanks. Phantasm |

Phantasm this is odd. I tried to do the same what you are doing. opening the dll's up in hex view and adding a number between words in that well known message, so you can know which dll gives the message. I've gone through all of them in the Data1.cab install package and I found only 3 files containing that message.
btchooser.dll BtWizard.dll BTNeighborhood.dll after overwriting the installed ones with these, still the message appears without any number in between the words. |

its in bttray.exe as well (in 2 places), but yes I too am now getting that error and cannot figure out where its coming from.
Also when it appears, if i end-task BTTray.exe it disappears, so its definately either coming from bttray.exe or a DLL that is loaded from bttray.exe oh and its also present in the 32bit version of the files, but ive never seen that error message pop up on any of the 32 bit releases. |

Check out the BT Server Spy Lite application - very handy if you need to do any BT programming... |
