Problem while flashing W550.... - GSM-Forum

I use cruiser 7.10 to flash it.
For ARM is ok but while flashing FS it's stop at 42%.
I try to change from eu1,eu2,eu3,eu4 but the same stop at 42%.
What's the problem ?
Is it 7.10 BUGS ?

W550 has 2 flash chips - NOR and NAND.
Cruiser can't write data to the NAND flash if the phone was booted via TP.
Therefore you should convert the phone to brown CID49 first and then reattach normally, without using testpoint.
Only then you may correctly flash W550 FS.
Remember to convert the phone back to red CID49 (via TP) or to repair EROM (without TP), but the phone will remain brown CID49.

Note to all: We are going to update user manual as soon as possible.

this error and it stop at 42% when flashing FS

i try what u say to convert to brown but the result is

not replace brown... no select ur w550!just attach ur phone...i try to flash my phone phone its work 100% ok my phone...no replace it ur convert to brown our red...

if you don't convert to brown, you cannot flash FileSystem part ~

um ... i have to use 2 tools to flash it ... I couldn't replace the color, so i have to use another tool to convert the color ... but that tool cannot flash it correctly ... then i have to use cruiser to flash ...

bug bug bug in every tool on CID49 ..

i flashed my fone with W550i_CXC1250031_EU1_R4CA004_Brown49
after flash there is no option to flash fone with FS

Thats because you did not attach your phone with test point adapter.
If you attach the phone with test point all the flashing options are activated else only the ARM option is activated.

ARM Flash all done
but it gives error in flashing FS at 42%
tried with different FS flash ... it always give error in the middle

Do not flash FS via TP!
Flash it when attached normally.
Flash it as Main FW (you will have to change file extension).
Unfortunately I can't upload new version of Cruiser now.
