40.79 doesn't have video recording ~
the video recording srating from 40.9x

any one point me in direction of above s/w but in SMF format for use via smart clip ?

If you do not have necessary .smf files, you can flash your phone with .shx flash files using PC Flash tab of SmartMoto. You have to connect the phone to SM directly, without Smart-Clip.

yes , but could not get my pc to work with shx files , but i found the smf file on boot loader .com on smart moto site its the 40.9cr one , works a treat, i have now reflashed my entire stock with this flash, it seems to have UK english and nordic langage pack not sure which one has the euro langages rather than the scandi ones.

just flash shx files with smrtmoto in pc mode ! not smartclip mode .

..tested many times !
