About connect pins 2 and 3 it is only for winimei soft. Don need to do it with Usb-Smart

About cable I don't know how can't work, yes can be drivers problem, but this cable only work with this models

http://pinouts.ru/data/samsung_z130_pinout.shtml

If you can't unlock it maybe is a recent version and must downgrada before reading codes.

Regards

Short com pins 2 and 3 is only needed to use Winimei soft.

About not detected Z140 if cable works and drivers are instaled only rest phone problem, phone connector or something else.
