Does NOKIA 3230 plays MIDI files? - GSM-Forum

Dear Mobile Gurus,
I have nokia 3230 mobile phone. Does it supports MIDI Files (Plyphonic Ringtones)? My N3230 is not supporting midi files when i'm transfering from my pc.

Getting This Error Message: Unknown file format ( -12003). Can any one help me out..

But of course it does support midi files. It is possible that you have installed an application that blocks midi files from being played. I know that when I had installed animated themes that you can find on this forum it was not possible to play midi files anymore on my 3230.

Dear Master Even I tried afte uninstallation of animated themes. wht to do...still same error i'm getting.. do you want me to format my 3230 mobile completely ......

it is very possible you will have to format your phone so if you do not have any java apps format it. But first remember to backup you conatcts to your mmc memory or with PC suite to your computer (whichever makes you feel better). I know that after I did that my 3230 could play midi files as well.

just download any midi files from net, then put it gallary's sounder folder/mmc's digital sound.
