Hi,

NSS.exe Beta 1.0.37.3 - 14 Aug 2006

- Support for BB5 simlock upload - via USB only or with F1/Nemesis box

What a simlock rebuild RPL file is usefull for:

- in case of bad flashing and the simlock in the PM is damaged
- in case you have an unlock code from the operator, but the unlock counter
is locked (3 times wrong code entered)

- NSS support BB5 loging mode. You need only CA-43 or DKU-2 usb cable.
The software can read ASK file and upload RPL file. No box is required, the soft
will start as a virtual USB device. Make sure that you have "VudOn=1" in
the NSS.ini file. To dissable the VUD(Virtual USB Device) and use NSS as software
for Prodigy LPT, F1, Nemesis just put "VudOn=0". To use NSS with Diamond, please
put "VudOn=1" and to use advanced features just click "Enable" button.
- Changes to the USB flashing with Diamond only. Diamond will no longer be
opened on program startup, instead you have to press 'Enable' in the advanced
features group in Device Info tab.

And logs are original from Nokia which means that if phone was locked,
using log, phone will be locked again?

the true off this program is to clean (by log) wrong attemps to un...ck
is´t not cheap but it´s a start and it works.
i´ve tested.

Hmmm.... there do not sound like SimLock can be opened if you not have code from operator ... so for unlocking is still useless ( until someone make right unlock calculation ) .

Anyway it’s useful software and it works!
I’ve tested and have one question: “Lock Code Count 3”
Does it mean that you still have 3 attempts to enter the right code or you already used 3 attempts?

Since with phoenix isn't possible to upgrade nokia 6280 v.3.40, someone tried flashing this phone using this software?

i know that after write rpl in bb5 u need make calibration and if u not make phone will stay phone startup faild contact retailer.

and how u make calibration in usb cable?

I tried the program Nemesis, but it doesn't recognize my Nokia 6680. However the drivers are good because Nokia PC Suite and Phoenix have no trouble about it.
