The BlueIM application is an Instant Messaging application which runs over Bluetooth.

The application is designed to run on mobile devices (phones, PDAs etc) which support Java 2 Micro Edition (with MIDP 2.0 and CLDC 1.1). I made this because I had problems reading the digits in the build-in stopwatch in my Sony-Ericsson telephone from a distance.

If you enter a time limit with the numeric keys, the timer will give a sound signal when the time limit has been reached.

*Stopwatch up to max 999 hours 59 minutes 59.99 seconds with 1/100 of a second accuracy. You may argue; what is the point with an accuracy of 1/100 of a second when measuring 100s of hours? And my answer is laziness, I didn't bother to strip away those decimals for you with the impact it may have on layout/alignment. Accuracy admittedly also depends on the system timer of the device, which has not been tested on any device. And it depends on system latency when pressing a button. Design considerations have been given to ensure minimum delay from pressing button until stopwatch is started/stopped etc., but you never know what is going on in there. Don't worry too much, it seems to do the job.

*Persistent saving of data for all stopwatch instances (but nothing saved for a stopwatch instance in reset state, which probably is the most common thing).

*Simple key interface with what I believe is convenient use of the keys for fast and accurate use. Based on assumption that most common use is start/stop/reset. Can be used with joystick/soft buttons and/or numeric keypad.

*Stopwatch will "keep" running even if closing the Java application when running. Saves battery if required to run the stopwatch for a long time.

*Designed with low CPU/power usage in mind. That is, update to display (which is the main CPU intensive activity) is only done as required by state of shown stopwatch instance.

First of all, searching for active devices on which this service is running, is needed. All devices will be added to your clients and you can control their access mode in settings menu.

You can choose which devices have the authority to receive your messages and which have not. As default no device would receive your messages. So choose trusted devices from settings menu.

"messages" will lead you to send and receive enviornment. You can send messages in unicode format.

Secret Codes is a simple program which is able to store all your secret codes in the phone memory cyphering with one password. It synchs with PC. I tested on Motorola E1070. It is opens source software. This program is given WITHOUT warranty. The inital screen shows all the available databases plus the options help and about. Select a database to open it, help to see this help and about to read author and copyleft details. To open a database it is also required a password because they are ciphered. Use NEW button to create a new database provideing its name and password (nothing of 0 to not cypher it). Use DELETE button to delete a database to save space. After a database is opened or created it is possible to see, add and delete records. Every record is a couple of strings: key and value. Only the key will be showed in the list of records of the database. Select a record key to show its value and eventually modify or delete it with DELETE button. Use ADD button to add a new record, PASSWORD to see current password and change it, BACKUP to send all the database records in clean text format to a PC thru a serial cable getting them (by terminal program), RESTORE to add records previously backuped with BACKUP button and BACK to exit from the database. Since it is possible to add different databases, everyone may be used for a single topic.

Valhalla Chat is an Instant Messenger for bluetooth devices.

What this means;

An instant messenger in general terms, offers (at least) typed text communication between users, just like: AIM, Microsoft messenger, Yahoo! messenger, Jabber, Skype and so on.

However, there's a big difference with Valhalla Chat and all these messaging systems. All these programs need a internet connection or at least a local network set up before connecting to each other.

Valhalla Chat doesn't need a network or any kind of setup. The two important requirements for Valhalla Chat are:
A bluetooth-able device, which can be a desktop/laptop, pda or mobile phone
To be in the signal range of at least another Valhalla chat user. Your range will be something from 10 to 100 meters.

And yes, this program is free software and will always be. Forget about "pro" , "extended" or any other fancy names to ask for money.
