Avast gets the vote everytime for me.

Good, allround protection.
Works great with Sygate firewall.

Avast even knows that a lot of the files on my Pc are actually cracks, and doesn't tell me they are virus's as such

Such clever stuff

s im also littl bit confused..im using avira anti vir...mst of d time it fails like brontanko&so...evn avira detects some cracks as virus...bcoz,those crack r made wth trojan..anyone wth good knowldg guide us?

F-secure works for me although it is a big RAM eater.... but never had a problem

yes, one of the best is missing from the list: F-Secure
but NOD32 and Panda are also good.

for me avast is the best antivirus t use it for 1 year with no problem
and for spy and other i use the webroot spysweeper

I think Kasperksy Antivirus is the best antivirus for over a thousand definitions it has done. Nothing can compare... KAV rules..
