Flash with orig usb cable not work
something usb->serial adapter needs or what? This from orig siemens dokument: • XCSDTool USB Data Cable Setup User Guide Information how to install driver for the SW update cable. • XCSDTool Download Function User Guide Information how to download SW to the mobile phone • Driver for USB to serial cable (SW update cable with the adapter in it) It is in folder Win2K_XP • XCSDTool Level 1 V1.5.2 Program for download SW to the mobile phone • Software V 1.08 1. Download from IMS all relevant files to your hard drive and create folders like in IMS 2. Install the driver for the USB to serial cable (For USB driver installation use: “XCSDTool USB Data Cable Setup User Guide” document Driver for USB cable available under “Win2K_XP”) 3. Install XCSDTool Level 1 V1.5.2 (In folder XCSDTool V1.5.2 go to folder Disk1 and click on SETUP Application) 4. Hi,
The original cable (same with DCA140), not working to flash. To flash you need to have pinouts configuration with the attached schematic. Maybe help you this information, br, dagos Last edited by dagos; 02-21-2007 at 05:22. |

Hmmm...
With DIP-100 and XCSD Tool V1.5.2 still 100% not work for flash. With BenQ-Siemens XCSD154 Flashtool......I don't know. Plus ought try. |

I'm not sure. Because I don't have S88.
But I know. That also with V1.5.5 nobody has successfully flashed. With Original cable. Maybe only the Driver for DIP-100 could be the solution??? @ Pufi164 Please. Activate your private message. Maybe I have something for you... SL... Regards |

DIP-102 is the right cable to do it. One can build also a cable of his own; to get the connector (plug), one have to sacrifice the earphones - or to buy the original ones somewhere else (eBay?!):
