Flash You BB5 Phone Easily - by Monster_Flower

To all members who cannot install NSS but has installed Phoenix you can use this Method that i discovered. But Dont Flash Using Phoenix because 20% only have done asuccessful flashing their BB5 phones. It's Too Risky! Just Follow the Instructions below.

Works Perfectly and 101% Safe!

Here's my method Using phoenix

I tried using NSS but i cant install it, on 80% installing the program it stops and has an error message so i cant install NSS. so i tried using phoenix just for an experiment and it works perfectly on my Nokia 6630, Nokia 6680 and Nokia N70!

Use This Thread to install phoenix

one disadvantage of using NSU is that some new fw is not yet available. and it takes a lot of time to download the new fw via nsu. but nice guide though. always play safe

What I don't get is why you needed GSM_Magic (Windows Enabler).
Anyways, good guide. I've done it before and yes, it works just as well as NSS.

Thumbs up Thank You very much 1000% works

This method works 100%, I was stuck with crap orange firmware (Notorious home screen eating away memory etc...). Before this method I tried Pheonix method and it bricked by 6680 Which I had to take to Carphone ware house and my phone was out of warranty(Bought from Ebay) but good Carphone warehouse ppl fixed my phone free of charge(Of course I lied about how the phone broke). Any way for any UK 6680 users u can use 0520999 - EURO1 SILVER BLUE as the Product code.
Now my phone is fast and with the latest firmware version.
A very clever trick this is(Changing the product code).

Cheers for the info.

remove 0perator L0ck ?

Does this remove 0perator L0ck on n0kia bb5 phones?

What about that?

With 0perator L0ck I mean (as you know) that after the procedure I can use the phone with any sim from any operator.

Thank you

Robert

Pkey : check Jaf support section and u will get more info about it
the only solution to unlock bb5 is by Logs and buying codes from operator !

I dont think so! Changing Product Code changes the Languges/ringtone/images etc... Its not Changing the phones IMEI.

i agree with you Lhick that changing product code is just letting your phone to have a new language/rigntones/images... flashing with this method wont change IMEI.
