BCM2045 firmware wanted

My Acer Aspire 9113 came with a built in Bluetooth 2.0 EDR Broadcom device. I've updated the WIDCOM stack to the latest 5.1.0.2700 version but I'm still having problems with intermittent sound using my Plantronics Pulsar 590A stereo headphones with the A2DP profile.

I'm sucessfully using the same headphones and stack with another Broadcom device in another notebook so I'm wondering whether it's an issue of incompatible firmware and hoping an upgrade might work.

So my question giving there's nothing on the Acer website is where best to start looing for the latest firmware.

Firmware Revision: Version 2.1.80.144
HCI Version: Bluetooth HCI:2.0
HCI Revision: 2090
LMP Version: Bluetooth LMP 2.0
LMP Sub Version: 4150

hi

The device id is as follows, I've included the whole string for completness.

USB\VID_0A5C&PID_2101\5&2CE9A191&0&2

I'm not sure about the class or how to tell.

cheers
