Dream Box Inquiry

Hi I'm looking to buy a dreambox but I have a couple of questions first.

1. O.K. I'm not to big on cutting any tracks. Most siemens that people request me to unlock are CF62 Do you have to cut track to unlock this model?

2. I heard that when you do testpoint on siemens phone with dreambox the computer stores some data that allow you to service that same phone in the future without having to do perform testpoint procedure. Is that true?

3. I know another siemens software that tells you when the testpoint is on good so it lets you know when you can press unlock. Does dreambox do that? If not does the procdure work similar to the smart clip testpoint procedure ( where you have to press search and see if program detects phone)

Thanks in advance

Hello, alvin101!
For unlocking CF62 you can use Test Point boot mode (just touch a test point on the board of a phone by testpoint cable) or Normal (Cut track) boot mode (you need to cut track on a phone's board before).
You can download our program here. Run it, choose a model of a phone and you will see boot modes, in which you can boot a phone. Also you will see testpoint and cuttrack pictures for phones.

Yes, it is true. You can boot a phone only one time in Test Point boot mode and then use Stored Boot Key (for EGold phones) or Auto (for SGold phones) boot mode or IMEI boot mode.

If you will use our Test Point boot mode, you will have to do the next:
1. Run an operation of DBSS which you need.
2. Connect the testpoint probe to the phone as shown on the picture and wait. The program will start to do an operation, when you will connect the probe right (you will hear a sound sign about this).
3. Disconnect the testpoint probe.
