Hi ET-Box Users!

This thread is not for asking about unloking solution or about adding new sets. It is to discuss about new enhancements to ET-Box software which could or should be added and about issues which may be faced while using ET-Box.

If I have my ufs connected to my system and and software is using it, ET-BOX gives two error messages and If the last port used was COM3 It becomes COM2 because it adds a blank entry in Port Selection Drop Down List. It should be rectified.

Can you please tell me what error it gives when UFS is connected?
also about com number problem. its sure something wrong with the drivers in your system

Actually ET-BOX tries to open UFS Box, but as UFS is already open by its application, ET-BOX is unable to get description of UFS device and gives errror ( GetFTDeviceDescription - Invalid Handle...). I am also a programmer and in my view, ET-Box detects UFS but does not make confirm that device is already in use or not. Then it tires to get description of UFS by calling function in FTD2XX.DLL (GetFTDeviceDescription) and it causes the error.
Another thing : You remember last port used by saving index value of combo item. Instead you may use port name i.e. "COM1" or "COM2". On startup you have to check whether last used port exists or not. If yes, you have to select that port in Combo List.
As I think it has nothing to do with driver.

Another facility I need is ftp support. Please provide us username and passowrd and allow us use ftp software to download files from support area. It will very usefull for us.

we have the easiest posible way to access the support area.
just click the "enter support" button and nothing else to do. so i dont think we need ftp access
