Vista will not sleep when bluetooth is on
Hi everybody!
Help me, please, to find a solution. My laptop will not go to sleep mode if the bluetooth built-in device is on. It is Broadcom 2045. The screen turns off but fans and lights remain on. Once I turn the bluetooth off the problem goes away. I have tried latest Anycomm, Widcomm drivers. The original Vista driver may work but the functionality of the bluetooth is limited to nothing I'd say and thus pointless. Googling did not help either. Thank you. |

Else, I tried to run the "fix" from MS because logically "the system fails to restore from sleep" but it said my system wouldn't need it. |

I experimented with many parameters in power options with no luck. The only solution which works for me so far is to turn off the bluetooth first and then activate the sleep function. By no means it is the solution to the problem. It must sleep regardless of the devices either on or off.
