Anyone knows what the Custom and Root folders for after the setup was done?
What the phoneme file for too? How to make TTS(Text to Speech) working? Anyone knows please give me some hints. Thanks

what setup ?
i unpackt the file to \iGO8 on my SD Card and tryed to start the igo.exe.. but it shows INT APP and then im back to WM5 |

Can iGO 8 and iGO 2006+ be both installed on a PDA?
I currently run the 2006+ version but because I have so many maps for it, I am a bit reluctant to update to the new version for fear of loosing some of the maps. It would be nice to have them both functional on one PDA. |

Yes, the two programs could co-exist on the PDA. You don't have to up-date from 2006+ to iGO8.
But the maps are different, so you don't save any space. |

It seems to be not working any more. Some one can confirm. When I run it lately it gets stuck at GPSAPP CNTR and freeze the whole screen, even though with the patch file. Maybe it is expired. Please confirm. Thanks

Try to change the date on your PDA, and see what hapens.

I use it on PNA. Date can not be changed. Anyone has the same situation?
It supposes to be expired by Feb 29, 08. Thanks |

hi guys,
i´´m also new here. i was downloaded the PNA-files and i copied to the SD. i get the startup screen and than prog shut down and i come back to WM6. how i can solve the problem ? have anybody expirience with this problem ? please give some feedback !!! many thanks |
