Lightbulb broadcom bcm2035b / small driver available?

hi,

i am using xp sp2 and there is only native support for 2033 and 2045.
so when i enter my pid into bth.inf the usb dongle msi pc2pc btoes 254 is found and can be installed with the xp broadcom driver, but gets an exclamation mark in device manager and is turned off.

i know there are solutions with widcomm and patch w/o license,
but i dont want to install this bloated software and neither bluesoleil,
because all i want is to use my samsung d500 via bluetooth to transfer some files to it.

is there a small/only driver solution for the bcm 2035b chip?
maybe a transfer software with included drivers for this?

thanks in advance

If you have a legit Bradcom device, just enter this site and download the installer from there:

http://www.broadcom.com/products/bluetooth_update.php

Uninstall any previous versions of the software you may have, reboot and run the btwinitialupdate.exe. I'm using the latest version of Widcomm, 5.1.0.4200. No need for patches or other hacks, works like a charm!
