Question BlueSoleil/Widcomm/Toshiba - A2DP as Stereo Speaker&Micro

Hello,

I have 2 USB Bluetooth Dongles. Both are BT2.0 + EDR dongles.
One has a Broadcom 2045 chipset and the other one is an ISS.

Furthermore I purchased a Plantronics BT Stereo Headset Pulsar 590A (BT2.0 CSR chipset).
It offers Hands-Free and Headset profiles and Advanced Audio Distribution (A2DP).

The Broadcom Dongle came with Widcomm SW and the other one with BlueSoleil.

My primary purpose is to use the headset with Stereo-Speakers (A2DP profile) and microphone concurrently with Skype.

BlueSoleil others with latest Version as services for the Plantronics headset:
- Bluetooth Advanced Audio (A2DP? = Audio Gateway = BT high quality Audio)
- Bluetooth Headset and Microphone (Headset profile?)

Connecting to Bluetooth Advanced Audio only offers Stereo sound, but NO microphone.

Connection to Headset and Microphone profile, I can TALK and LISTEN to music, but the listening quality is worse than A2DP. Reason: headset profile

So my question would be, is it possible to reach my object of listening and speaking over A2DP via Skype?

I googled a little and found on a website, that says it's possible but only with a special plugin for messengers.
On reading through IVT BlueSoleil, there should be a plugin already included.

Furthermore I can create with latest and included BlueSoleil SW multiple hands-free connections (headset and micro + advanced audio[A2DP]).

With Widcomm SW 5.1.0.2500 and 5.1.0.4200 same things are possible with my headset although they name their profiles different from BlueSoleil.
This is in my opinion a little confusing.

Another interisting thing I noticed with BlueSoleil SW (not tested with Widcomm) is the usage of the connect button of my headset. If headset and BT dongle are paired, but not connected over a profile and I press the connect button of my headset, a connection is established headset-sided. It's called inside the menu Bluetooth-Headset-Speechgateway.
The speaker of the headset becomes muted and the Bluetooth headset and microphone profile/service has disappeared. Only available service for the Pulsar 590A headset is the CONNECTED Bluetooth-Headset-Speechgateway and the NOT CONNECTED Bluetooth Advanced Audio profile.
However, the sound output doesn't seem to be A2DP (advanced audio).
For testing I use Goldwave, a little audio programm, which has the ability to select the audio input/output device.

Has anybody of you made same expierence with Toshiba SW?
Does anybody has a list of well supported chipsets (I think most CSR will work)?

Hope somebody has an idea or can help anyway.

Thanks.

Nobody has an answer for my questions?

Seems to be, that it's not possible to use A2DP (speaker) associated with Headset-Profile too, that runs a muted speaker, but a microphone.

I'm having a quite similar (I think worse) problem as you have. My Nokia BH-501 stereo headset can't be detected by my Toshiba Laptop on Vista using a USB CSR Bluetooth dongle. It works fine with my Nokia E51 cellphone and the quality sound is quite good. Like you, I would like to use my stereo headset to communicate using yahoo messenger. My plaintronics 220 mono headset works well with my laptop though. Let's hope we get a good advice soon!
