try to read UR card again to get correct IMEI number. If imei is still same like in UR post then looks like card is broken. If u want be 1000% sure then run hyperterminal and enter command AT+CGSN

yes... it wouldn't register with the foreign network

i think i might have borken it (i used dc-unlocker to remove the simlock... but that didn't solve the unlock, so i tried kulankendi). Before the dc-unlocker it asked me for the unlock code, now it doesn't and still doesn't work..

remove simcard and read simlock status(READ INFO)
it will be: Enabled then it mean that U have locked unlock counter

without a SIM card insterted KK_MClient says:

Simlock status: Disabled

And it still won't register with the foreign network (tested the foreign network SIM card in an unlocked phone and it works fine).

Maybe it has some special firmware (or maybe a hardware lock and hence the different model name K3520) that prevents it from registering on a network other than a Vodafone one?

so simlock is disabled. some operators use lock in their connectivity software like Vod***,ora*** , try use other operators software or any other non from operators. I have no experience in other things like simlock so U should ask somone about it, we had similar problem with ZTE modem and ora*** software.

I've used Huawei's "Mobile Partner", so it's not the client software.

Thanks for the replies anyway. Too bad I used 30 credits in vain.
