NT - Higher compression for later Garmin programmes, eg Garmin mobile XT

First link only has the .img file. Unpakc and copy that to your garmin folder on the SD card or device. Generate the appropriate gmapsupp.unl key with keygen.

Mapsource - unpack and run. It will add the maps to your PC, and from there, you can use Mapsource to install it to your device.

PS- Click thanks is you find this helpful!

ok i seem to have taken the long way around, i wanted to view the map in mapsource first (even though i ended up selecting all of aus) and use mapsource's transfer tool which packs everything neatly into a single file. which i just realised is an .img file just like the one in the zip. gah.

when you said 'unpack' i thought you meant unpack the .img file! thanks for making it easy for people who don't try to outsmart themselves (like me.)

You'll need to get a copy of Jetmouse Keygen - Do a search here or google it.

It'll allow you to calculate an unlock code for the map for your device.

Check the Garmin thread for how to unlock maps.

Hi guys....complete novice talking!!
I aquired a Garmin 710 in Bangkok, which is the equivalent to the 750 or 760 model in OZ, where I live for most of the year. It has a Thai map on it, but I would like to put Oz ones on ( I have a house in Perth) What the hell do I do to start the ball rolling. Not returning to OZ until end Nov!! Appreciate any help. Can you only have one map on the machine at a time can I include an Oz one with the THai one? I should add I dont have any codes etc only the machine which is unlocked and the battery and computer inputs. I also have registered with Garmin the units details.
,Please guys if you are able to help put it in the simplist terms as possible!!!

Download the unlocked version (search for it, it exists) and name it gmapsup2.img. Copy it to your device and you can swap to the map as required.

Scroll down on the map options to custom mapset, and enter 358 for MapID.

Don't forget to enter your device ID in the top box too.
