Problem with Flashing W980i, configuration error! - GSM-Forum

hi,
i bought some credit for SE in KKclient, 'cause i have a w980i from O2 Germany, and i would flash it to chinese.

i have choosen the file:
1, W980i_R3CA038_FS_APAC-ANZ_CID52.fsm
2, W980i_R3CA038_MAIN_CHINA_MD_CID52.min

**the kk-clientis: 1.96 / language.ini 1.86
**the cda i wanna use is: 1209-5271
**the usb cable is DCU 65 (dont have 60)
**i chose in the kk-klient: DB3150(A2),
finalization--yes
cda---1209-5271

i can see there infos after flashing:

i tried several times but after boot it always tells me "configuration error, call for sevice".

i dont know what i can do, help..................

hi again....
i just realized where the problem can be....
at the first time, i forgot to choose "finalization", and the flashing was done.
then i wanted to flash it again, with "finalization", but server tells me that i dont have credit any more...
what can i do???? dont let me pay 8 euro again please.....

If you use cruiser you need to tick cotumize fs after flash... if you user setool just check the complate phone after flash... your problem will be solved

i dont know exactly where the problem is. after flashing my w980, i cant turn on it, it shows on the display always "configuration problem". i think it's because that i didnt choose the "finalization" on the control panel on KK.
althaugh the flashing is done (the only one credit is also gone...), the phone was not finished with "finalization".
that is the problem, i think....
i guess, if i flash it again with kk, this error can be solved, but my problem is, i must pay 8 euro again....is there any solution for me? dont let me pay again.please.....

Yes for correct flashing U need select FINALIZATION option.
U don't need to pay 8euro more U still have 2 more free operations(half-active account) :-) so select now ONLY FINALIZATON (do not load flash files) and click EXECUTE, it will do finalization only and now power on phone and tell result.

and, i didnt find the bottom "execute", do u mean "flash phone"? it comes a message with "finalization without flashing selected"
. is that correct???

but i still have a question:
if i check the CDA of my w980, it shows:
1210-2866 R9A
1204-1255 R3CA033
Western-EURO

but i think i flashed it with:
1, W980i_R3CA038_FS_APAC-ANZ_CID52.fsm
2, W980i_R3CA038_MAIN_CHINA_MD_CID52

why does it show always "western euro". if i use the "update service", the phone will be updated to german again?

confused....

CDA is not changed while flashing, if U want to change it then U must select Change CDA and write desired CDA number(before flashing)
Yes now update service will back to German. So if U know correct CDA then flash phone again
