Problem with Flashing W980i - GSM-Forum

1. i bought some credit for SE in KKclient, 'cause i have a w980i from Telekom, and i would flash it to chinese.

2.i have choosen the file:
W980i_R3CA038_FS_APAC-ANZ_CID52.fsm
W980i_R3CA038_MAIN_CHINA_MD_CID52.min

3.**the kk-clientis: 1.96 / language.ini 1.86
**the cda i wanna use is: 1209-5271
**the usb cable is DCU 65 (dont have 60)
**i chose in the kk-klient: DB3150(A2),
finalization--yes
cda---1209-5271

4.but, i forgot to choose "finalization", and the flashing was done.
it always "configuration error, call for sevice".

5. i got to sony ericsson website, to new sofware update

6. it is OK, but alway connect not Net.

now, i have only one try in KK. und i want to take die Handy to Germany oder Chinese.

Help mir!!!

so now go to A2 Tab again and mark FINALIZATION, do not load any files and click FLASH and connect phone, wait till finish and try now use phone. if not works then again flash phone with same CDA and this time select FINALIZATION

i go to A2 Tab again and mark FINALIZATION, do not load any files and click FLASH and connect phone,
now, it is better.
but i check mein Handy info.

Hold 'C' or '@'-(PDA) or '2'-(W88x) or '2+5'(W760) or '6'(W350) key and plug DCU60 USB cable.

hello cjorange,
i think you are using "mixed english and german". it's "is"(not "ist"), "my"(not "meine"), "what"(not "was").
hehehe.dont be confused with "english+deutsch".
i had the same problem, u need to flash the phone again, it doesnt work only with "finaliation".that means, do again"cda-change and finaliation" together!!!

CDA change need phone flashing, it not work fast like in DB2020
Did Finalization fix "configuration error" ?

please use brain some and read what KK show U:

Detected: DB3150: A2 Series

it mean that U have A2 phone and U need to switch to A2 tab and there 1. mark Finalization
2. mark change CDA and write CDA
3. Load FS+Main
4. click Flash phone
