I have an i68+ with echo, and I can't remove it. I go into engineer menu, audio, normal mode, side tone, and the value set is 80. I can't find the way to change/edit this parameter, and no other either. I mean, if I touch 'set', I go to the back menu, the same if I touch back. The side keys of the phone don't do anything, and not only with this parameter but also with all of them. I need help! | |

Member: 792296 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 39 | Hi there I've heard before that people can't change the settings in the engineer mode, so the MTK Longcheer tool ist probably the only way to change the value. Some people have a hard time connecting the phone properly as a com port with their PC, some have been able to do this via Bluetooth. If all this doesn't work, I found a solution that is supposed to work. ----- 1.enter the engineer mode => device => set UART => UART setting . 2.on TST-PS Config make it UART 2 , 115200 3.on PS config make it USB Port , 115200 4.on TST-L1 Config make it none. 5.press ok, the phone will shut down , start the phone , when you connect it to the computer it will be in com-port automatically. 6. if you want the previous setting "mass storage or picture or webcam" change the PS config to UART 1 and press ok restart your phone and enjoy ----- Unfortunately I can't test this since I don't own a i68+ phone :-( Good luck!!! :-) |

Member: 937708 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Thanks for your help. Unfortunately I am not familiar with the MTK longcheer that you mentioned. I have tried to get it but I just found a reference in a german website that I can't understand. I was able to get a MTK tool v1.31 and installed it, but I think it is only for updating the phone with any other .bin file. I wonder if you could tell me how to get the tool that you mean, and then how to find and change the parameter 'side tone' that actually is set to '80' and I should change to '0'. I really appreciated your help |
