Alcatel 300 and 302 don't Power ON ??? - GSM-Forum

ok, again for power_on problem on Alcatel 30x phones.
I have two Alcatels one 300 and one 302 with simmilar problems:

i get A300 damaged - not power on, only have conection with PC. I make backup and try with diff. SW but nothing
idea ?

A302 i get worked. but after changeing case phone have problem with Jog_dial (Up, OK, Down - buton). I open it to repair and after that phone can't power_on. I try with other LCD_PCB but nothing.
phone have conection with PC - again i try with diff SW and nothing. Sometig interesting: when I conecti data_cable (GND,RX,TX and +5V) and ther press power_buton phone wakeup

but when remove data_cabel phoen switch off imediatly - strange.
(!!! TNX to ARC !!! - i read in one post for some problem to check R051 - somtime is black with label R051 or blue w/o label. i change this R and phone power_on w/o problem

I forgot about other BE4 - 302 that I damge TEH_Zone. now unable to make phone work normaly. PLEASE if someone can help me to repair TEH_Zone send me e-mail to: svetlim@abv.bg
I found that DELOK sell software for this but I have only one BE4 with this problem and not normal no buy this SW

sorry but price on phone is < from SW price. (possible normal, but if i have more that 3 pcs. BE4 with SW problem that I can buy this SW).

check the resistor near the battery pins...
change front (display bord) bord...

hi all. thanks to the advise above i think i may have found the cause of my OT 301 (BE4) to not turn on or charge.
Is the resistor labeld A in the attached photo the one you recommend replacing? If so what value resistor should replace it? My multimeter says it is ~96kOhms. (I cannot find a BE4 service manual on the net but it seems from many posts that I'm not alone).

i fixed the problem. it was dirty contacts as shown in the attached photo. I wiped them well and then re-assembled the phone and it is charging again now. the battery isn't so good but thats because it was run so flat.
