How to connect Apple iPhone:

Prior to connecting your iPhone, verify the Apple iTunes software is installed on the PC. The most recent version of iTunes is available for download from the Apple website at http://www.apple.com/itunes/ .

After connecting the cable from your iPhone to your PC, run the MOBILedit! Connection Wizard (File / Wizard) or, alternatively, select "Settings..." from the "File" menu, and select the "iPhone device" item on the "Ports" tab. Selecting the "OK" button than starts the device detection process.
