Hello.

Please, install Macrosoft Net Framework 3.5 Download Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 from Official Microsoft Download Center) or higher, reboot the PC and run Octopus/Octoplus Box Samsung Software again.

Also, this error can happens when you try to start an application in a system, where the "Visual Studio® 2005 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package MFC Security Update" is not installed.

Try to install "Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package MFC Security Update":
Download Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package MFC Security Update from Official Microsoft Download Center

Try to fully update your Win OS via Microsoft Update Service.
