If software can't connect to phone, then it's for sure cable/port problem.
It have to be no problems with connector. I mean: no need to try: full inside/medium inside etc.
Phone should be Powered On.
Cable ("X60" mark) should be completely inserted.
If you have any other cable for Moto T191, please, try to use it.
