Activate/Deactivate SIM Lock

1. Press Menu.
2. Scroll to and select Settings.
3. Scroll to and select Security.
4. Scroll to and select Locks.
5. Scroll to and select SmartChip Protection.
6. Scroll to and select Protection.
7. Select On or Off.
8. Enter the SIM PIN if prompted.
Change (SIM) PIN Code

1. Press Menu.
2. Scroll to and select Settings.
3. Scroll to and select Security.
4. Scroll to and select Locks.
5. Scroll to and select SmartChip Protection.
6. Scroll to and select Change PIN.
7. Enter the old SIM PIN (default 1111).
8. Enter the new SIM PIN when prompted.
9. Enter the new SIM PIN a second time when prompted.
Note: You are allowed five attempts to unlock before your
device permanently locks to the AT&T network.
