Just try to flash K608_EROM_CID37_RED with Recovery option checked (you can find this file in support on K608 directory).
If this works, then this new phones is CID 49 only in Flash and in OTP is CID 37.
And after flashed EROM, you can do all operations like on K608 CID 37 (unlock, flash, debrand, ...).
There is NOT ANY DANGER for the phone, because if it is really CID 49 in OTP, then nothing can happens (phone not even enter in boot mode).
