Smile Huawei F203 Fixed Wireless Terminal

Hello Everyone,

Recently, I was able to find this old FWT and managed to do some proper cleaning and restoring.

1) The device works fine and is able to register with the network once it's turned on.

2) The contract with the network has expired and no longer billed on this device.

3) On the back of the device, there is a SIM slot. However, when I used another SIM card, the device shows no different response even after restart: it registers with the previous network anyway and nothing new is displayed on the LCD.

4) The device has a female USB-A port. When connecting the device to a Windows PC by male-male USB cable, it identifies as "Huawei CDMA Technologies MSM".

5) Looking at the PCB, I was able to find Qualcomm QSC 1100 Chip.

Is there a way make this device work with a new SIM so it won't go to waste ?

Does anyone know relevant methods and have windows drivers, flash tools, and new firmware ? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
