I bought it outright from a pawn shop after checking thoroughly to make sure it had a clean IMEI. Pawn shop owner who I know said it was unlocked. It worked fine with a Tracfone SIM but a Sprint SIM was asking for an unlock code. How is it determined that it's not paid off if I can ask?
