Hello fam.
Ive an A5_CHL Sprint. that's locked and would like to use it on a GSM network because i see several bands when i use the selection menu from the dialer. however, this device has only two selections from the network settings menu.
my idea was to de-brand it, hoping to get a complete net-type selection once i got rid of sprint's s/w. this got me lose base-band after flashing KK from cspire!.
i reverted to stock and now have it the same way, where i have sim lock but restricted from band selection.
my idea now is to flash a custom rom because think ill it enable toggling bands naturally and thus get the device working but now stuck because i hardly find something working within my developer friends
