cuz most likely,the one you had is not a normal Redmi 9A
to make sure about it,put the phone in fastboot,open cmd and write this command:
fastboot getvar all
a normal Redmi 9A has the product name:dandelion
there is a Redmi 9A for Indian market with the product name:cattail
and there is Redmi 9A modified to Redmi 9C(I faced this kind personally)
so,long story short:always check the phone by fastboot what ever the model you have..
