yesterday i was given an old galaxy note 4 (firmware 6.0.1) someone found in a couch. i want to use it on my 3d printer for octoprint but it has a reactivation lock
i can get to the play store, and get logged into my gmail account using the accessibility bypass (three clicks of the home button to turn it on, then draw an "L" on the screen), but when i try to update or download any apps they just stay in pending for hours.
i've tried to reset the phone, i've tried a different wifi, i've tried to push an app install from my laptop - no luck

any thoughts please?
