tampi, phoenix (not cracked) is compatible with nokia original boxes (like FLS-4, FPS-8, etc.). if you have any other box, you should also have software that comes with that box - you don't need cracked phoenix then. and if you have cracked phoenix, you need only a usb cable (dku-2 or ca-53). but cracked phoenix only supports bb5 phones, and allows only a limited range of operations (little other than flashing and factory reset). for more advanced features (like dead phone flashing for many models, downgrading, various diagnostics and repair operations, etc.) you need a box (jaf, griffin, mt-box, pbb and so on) with corresponding software and cables. afaik, some of these phones do work with phoenix (mt-box?), but for that info, you should look at the sites selling the boxes. |
