Using the Thermometer

The thermometer is used to monitor the actual temperature of the PCB. The temperature changes with regards to heat and time when heating element radiates infrared heat. The preheater can radiates heat around 100°C,and the handheld heater up to maximum of 800°C(but dont try to use this when reworking as it may toast/damage your pcb).

Just place the thermometer's end wire near the reworked IC or a metal plate near to it.

For better and safe results it is always recommended to use the thermometer when reworking.
