Atm there are all sorts of problems with unlocking sims, ect.
some reception drop dramaticly some no service some no sim and some just dud ! right now there is no proper solution for the 3gs bro
though i have found out that when you get an iphone 3g here in australia the iphone locks to the specific simcard that you insert FIRST !!! and then when you activate the iphone via itunes it locks permanent to the sim card carrier
