The temperature for heating lead free based NVIDIA GPU chips in laptops like HP DV2000/6000, Compaq V3000 series, etc boards is 215 degrees centigrade. You can go upto a maximum of 225 degrees only if needed and generally 215 degrees will do the job. Through the experience of a colleague of mine the Nvidia GPUs get permamnently damaged at 240 degrees centigrade, so please don't reflow at temperatures above 225 degrees. I use 225 degrees sometimes to remove NVidia GF 6150 , but there are times even when 215 degrees is enough.
